A series of short ficlets with a Hermione/George slant.

Starting on the evening of Dolores Umbridge's first day as headmistress. Canon says that Harry and Ron went up to bed. No mention is made of what Hermione was doing. This series works on the premise that canon mostly tells us what Harry sees and, in the same way that he was unaware of Hermione's relationship with Viktor Krum until the evening of the ball, it might be possible for her to go out with George and for him to be equally oblivious. So far, I've manage not to contradict the letter of canon, even if it doesn't fall within the spirit.

A present, a misunderstanding, a turning point.

As Valentine's Day in his final year approaches Severus prepares a special gift for Lily. Will it have the desired affect or not?

Wriiten before Deathly Hallows.

A conversation between two friends reveals some dark secrets about Snape's past and sheds light on his relationship with Dumbledore. DH is partially recognized, but mostly ignored (especially the epilogue). 

Healer Weasley-Granger is approaching her fourth decade on the planet, and her life is not going well. When Professor Snape comes to her as a patient after a potions accident with unusual consequences, will things improve or just worsen?

Set after 'Moments of Transition' we begin this story with our main characters each more than a little bit in love with the other. However, both of them believe for various reasons that, while the other sees them as a friend, any attraction is unrequited. So what will happen when Viktor Krum gets an offer to play for a British club? Is Percy really in league with the Dark Lord? What happened on that night back in December, what does it mean for Severus and how will it affect the future of the Wizarding world? 

Hermione, having been Imperiused during the War, commits several murders that lead to her being abandoned by Ron and Harry. During her imprisonment in Azkaban, she becomes connected to Draco and Severus whilst they all wait for trial. When all three are acquitted, they go into business together, as no one else will work with them. However, Hermione Granger is no longer the same person she was at Hogwarts, and she refuses all contact with her former friends. When Ron attempts to break into her life, a terrible disaster follows, leaving only Severus and Draco to pick up the pieces. With Harry, Ginny, and Lavender now attempting to find her, Hermione struggles to maintain the small amount of peace she has built up for herself after Azkaban, but will she find herself back there for life?

Hermione is cursed by the Death Eaters, and Dumbledore believes Professor Snape is the only one who can help her and keep her safe. Hermione is 18 years old in this story, but she is still a student. If you are offended by teacher/student stories, please do not continue. This story is very AU and non-HBP and non-DH compliant.

Written before Deathly Hallows was published, 'Thorns Amongst the Blooms' is set more than four years after Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with the conflict between the Order and the Death Eaters heading towards the closing stages.

For three years Hermione has been Severus's Secret-Keeper. Over that time they've come to share a close but secret relationship, but all that has gone before is cast into doubt when Hermione is placed under an Imperius Curse. Will Severus believe himself betrayed and turn to Voldemort for real, or will this be the turning point in the war that the Order have been waiting for?

I'm not exactly certain that it rates a graphic sex warning, more of an R than NC-17 but I thought it was better to play safe.

We get to see how Severus first got in touch with Hermione over a year after the events of 'The Half-Blood Prince', and how he convinced her to become his Secret-Keeper.

What changes will come when other boys begin to come around Lily in her summer hols - and what dangers can come of the dark, violent emotions that burn within a young wizard torn apart by the complications of the ever-darkening world in which he lives?
